Our guide Miguel and our driver Miguel were fantastic—we really got our money's worth. The views, the scenery, the vineyards, and the boat tour were all truly wonderful.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect from this trip. It was fantastic. Miguel, our tour guide, was exceptional, and Miguel, our driver, was a great sidekick. The views were stunning, and I got a ton of great video footage. The food on the boat was great, but the wine……. You get your first glass around 11:00 a.m.…… well, it’s 5:00 p.m. somewhere! The wine was amazing. And plenty of it. A couple of glasses at the vineyard, a few on the boat, and another included with the meal. Honestly, the best tour of this kind I’ve ever taken. Since this was our 25th wedding anniversary trip and the tour took place on our actual anniversary, there aren’t enough stars to give! We had the most amazing time! Our driver/tour guide, Miguel, was fantastic, and we made great friends from Scotland and Denmark. The views are indescribable and awe-inspiring—so glad we were able to see them by car, boat, and train—each offering a different perspective! And lastly, the food and wine were amazing. Highly recommend this tour! And a special thanks to Miguel for being a 5-star guide!

Highlight of Our Porto Trip The most amazing day! Miguel was a fantastic driver and charming guide, and we made new friends from the US and Denmark. It’s quite a long drive from Porto to Pinhão, but it’s so worth it for the views. The river cruise was beautiful, lunch was unbelievably good, washed down with plenty of wine and port. The train ride back to Pinhão was spectacular—the scenery is breathtaking! And then we had a wine tasting, which was also fantastic—tasting white, red, rosé, and port, and sampling their olive oil with some snacks. The weather was perfect, and the whole day was the highlight of our vacation in Porto! Highly recommended!
